Adam Lambert (29 de janeiro de 1982) é um cantor de Los Angeles, California e vice-campeão da edição de 2009 do programa American Idol.
Adam foi influenciado por seu pai que trabalhava como DJ e o apresentou a vários estilos musicais. Trabalhou como substituto do ator do papel principal do famoso musical da Broadway, Wicked, durante a turnê americana de 2006.

Na audição para o programa cantou Bohemian Rhapsody, clássico da banda Queen e música favorita do jurado Simon Cowell. Apesar de achá-lo muito teatral, Cowell o aprovou para a fase conhecida como Hollywood Week. Durante a semana de Hollywood, Adam se destacou com a apresentação do clássico I can't get no Satisfaction dos Rolling Stones, e conquistou sua entrada no Top 13.
Adam Lambert acabou ficando com o 2º lugar do programa, perdendo para o estudante Kris Allen. Na final do programa, Adam cantou Mad World, A Change Is Gonna Come e No Boundaries, co-escrita pela jurada Kara DioGuardi. Adam também se apresentou com a banda KISS e fez um dueto com Kris Allen cantando We Are The Champions junto com a banda Queen.
