Lars Ulrich está sendo processado pelo ex-assistente pessoal, que alega que o baterista não pagou as horas extras que devia. No processo, Steven Wiig afirma que trabalhava 70 horas por semana quando Ulrich estava em casa e 80 horas quando estava em turnê com o Metallica.
Ele alega também que trabalhou de 2001 até 2010 como motorista, gerente da coleção de arte do baterista, organizador da agenda e muitas outras funções. Wiig reclama que recebeu apenas 45 mil dólares por ano pelo trabalho. Ulrich também teria um acordo verbal com Wiig que daria a ele um bônus anual, que não teria sido pago nos anos de 2006 e 2008. O advogado de Lars Ulrich rebateu as acusações, afirmando o baterista do Metallica recebia 110 mil reais por ano, além de aluguel e carro de graça. O julgamento está marcado para 24 de junho.
